How to Care for Your Pewter
Each piece of Hollybelle cookware is handcrafted from lead-free aluminum alloys and is oven safe. Since each piece is individually hand-cast, minor imperfections should be expected. With simple care and absolutely no polishing, Hollybelle "Mexican Pewter" will maintain its good looks for years to come.
1. Wash each piece before use.
2. May be safely used in any conventional oven up to 350 degrees.
3. DO NOT place in microwave or a dishwasher.
4. To avoid staining, coat with cooking spray before each use. It is natural for pewter cookware to darken slightly with use.
5. Do not leave foods or liquids in your piece for an extended period of time, especially acidic foods.
6. Clean with mild soap and water immediately after use.
7. Dry with a soft cloth.
8. When caring for your piece, keep in mind that it will scratch like any metal.
9. Best of all, you never have to polish it!
